is an wonderful form of exercise that has gotten a lot of hype over the last 10 years. It is an innovative system of mind-body exercise evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates, based on the power of connecting the mind, the body, and the breath in a series of focused and precise movements. If done correctly, it can dramatically transforms how your body looks, feels and performs.

At The Moving Joint we aim to help you find deeper connection to your body and the way it functions in movement.  Although the effects of the work are tighter abs, leaner yet strong muscles, and more range of motion, we also aim to help you grow in your understanding of how to keep your body healthy, improve your posture, and help you with your mind body connection so that you have the tools to stay feeling good and injury free.

The exercises are performed either on the mat or on specially designed equipment (during private semi-private or small group classes) constructed with variable spring resistance to help open and align the skeletal system while strengthening and balancing the muscular system.

**If you are planning to try the small group reformer classes (5 students max in a class), we highly recommend that you do at least the intro package of two private sessions first so that you can get to know how to use the equipment and so that we can get to know you and what you might need to work on specifically.
