It is a good workout for anyone seeking variety from their regular Pilates or Yoga routines. This Buff Bones® class is helpful, especially, for people with osteoporosis, osteopenia, and those seeking balance and functional movement training.  The program integrates Pilates, strength and functional movement training, rehabilitative exercise and bone research. It is adaptable and is safe for people with osteoporosis. Exercises are performed standing and on a floor mat. Some standing exercises are performed using small free weights. Guidance is provided as to how those with osteoporosis can move safely to prevent falls and fractures.
