Do you…

Enjoy taking group fitness, Pilates, or yoga classes and are concerned you might get hurt?

Experience joint pain or discomfort when you practice planks, squats, and push ups or Chaturangas?

Want to better understand the exercises you’ve been doing in fitness classes in a supportive environment and you can have your questions answered?

If so, this workshop is for you.

In Injury Proof Your Yoga and Fitness Practice, you will learn:

•How to apply critical thinking skills to your movement experience.

•Underlying reasons for pain and discomfort in popular yoga poses and traditional fitness exercises, including lunges, warrior poses, push ups and Chaturangas, balancing pose transitions, squats, plies and more!

•Corrective exercises to strengthen your weak links, reduce tension, and minimize the risk of injury.

•How to use props (foam rollers, resistance bands, small hand weights) + the Pilates Springboard to improve body awareness and functional movement patterns.

•An updated approach to stretching, based on modern exercise science.

If you’re a Pilates teacher and you work with people who take group fitness or yoga classes, this workshop will give you the tools to help your clients troubleshoot some of their common challenges.

P.S. A blissful savasana with guided meditation to enhance regeneration and recovery included!
